PINEWOOD PLACE GRAND OPENING AND RIBBON-CUTTING CEREMONY

Champaign, IL. July 28, 2021. A grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for Pinewood Place will be held for invited guests on July 29, 2021, at 2:00 PM, at 1606 E. Colorado in the City of Urbana, Illinois.

Pinewood Place will provide twenty-four one-bedroom units in 4 separate buildings for individuals with special needs. Of the 24 units, 5 units will be set aside for the Statewide Referral Network, and the additional 19 units will be for referrals from local township offices in Champaign County. Project amenities include an in-unit washer and dryer, dishwasher, and microwave in addition to the stove and refrigerator. Additional site amenities include an on-site office for case management services, a community room with computer stations, and a community kitchen.

Pinewood Place is developed under an Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Urbana and Maple Grove Development Corporation, a non-profit affiliate of the Housing Authority of Champaign County (HACC).
