FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

HEADLINE: "Souperbowl" and Resource Party for our Friends without Addresses

On Sunday, February 2, 2020, the Housing Authority of Champaign County (HACC) will host our 2nd "Souperbowl" and Resource Party for our friends without addresses at our office located at 2008 North Market Street, Champaign, Illinois 61822. The event will take place from 4:30 - 10:30 PM. HACC's mission is to help those without permanent housing access the numerous services they need to become self-sufficient.

The "Souperbowl" and Resource Party for our friends without addresses will be a fun and social event to help provide the necessary care to individuals while enjoying the big game.  This year we will have quite a few agencies here to provide information and answer any questions that the community may have. We will have Carle Clinic on hand to check blood pressure, Childcare Resources and Referral along with Crisis Nursery to answer questions about childcare needs, and the cities of Champaign and Urbana will have information regarding the programs they offer.

We would like to give a special thanks to our community partners, volunteers, and co-sponsors Austin's Place, C-U at Home, Hickory Bank, City of Champaign - Office of Equity Community and Human Rights and Carle Foundation's Healthy Beginnings Program. Without them and the numerous donations from the community, this event would not be possible.

If you have any questions or need more information, please contact Monique James at by email or call 217-378-7100 ext. 5022.
