SHIFT Program - Reach your goals and earn up to $34,000

SHIFT is a goal-based incentive program with the Housing Authority of Champaign County (HACC). SHIFT supports HACC participants in achieving personal and financial goals such as increasing earned income, pursuing education, building credit, and becoming a homeowner. Our ultimate objective is to help you successfully transition from housing assistance and, if desired, achieve homeownership.

Participants receive:

Individualized goal setting and coaching
Access to job training, education, entrepreneurship, and housing resources
The opportunity to earn up to $34,000 across a 5 year duration, which becomes available when you successfully complete the program and exit the voucher program in good standing
