Flyer titled “Bad Credit or No Credit? We have programs to help!” Promotes a small dollar loan program to build or repair credit with loans from $500 to $1,500. Lists topics including improving credit score, budgeting, saving, and applying for loans. Includes a QR code and registration link. Hosted by Housing Authority of Champaign County and Heartland Bank.

      Flyer titled “Creative Connections” with Ellen Zimmerman from Comprehensive Counseling. Workshop focused on creativity, music, connection, and mental wellness. Event takes place July 9, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Housing Authority of Champaign County Hessel Office, 108 Hessel Boulevard. Kids are welcome. Flyer titled “Understanding the Finances of Homeownership.” Hosted by the Housing Authority of Champaign County in partnership with First Mid Bank. Educational workshop led by Derrick Helm focused on the four C’s of homeownership financing: credit, capacity, capital, and collateral. Participants will learn how credit scores, debt-to-income ratios, savings, and home values affect the homebuying process, along with practical tips for preparing for homeownership. The event takes place June 27 at 1:00 PM at the Housing Authority of Champaign County Hessel Office, 108 Hessel Boulevard. Registration is available through Angela Maligaya. Flyer titled “Child Care Resource Service Informational.” Information session introducing the Child Care Resource Service (CCRS) and the resources it provides for families. Topics include referral database access, parenting resources, and assistance with child care costs for income-eligible families. The event takes place Monday, June 29, 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
